ABHYANGAM

THAKRADHARA
This is a procedure of pouring medicated buttermilk over the forehead, which has cooling properties and helps in calming the body and mind. NETRA THARPANAM
This is basically an eye-cleansing process that gives cooling effect to your eyes. It is used to treat various problems related to the eyes such as strain, irritation, pain etc. It is highly effective in improving eyesight, curing dry eye syndromes, strengthening optic nerve and preventing from different eye diseases
PIZHICHIL
This is one of the most important therapy where a continuous stream of lukewarm medicated oil applied over the body followed by a mild body massage. It is very useful for Rheumatic diseases like Arthritis, Paralysis, Hemiplegia, Sexual Weakness, Nervous Weakness and Nervous Disorders etc
THALAPOTHICHIL
This is a special procedure in which medicated paste is applied on the head after a mild head massage. Basically, this is a cooling treatment. It is mainly used to relieve stress, Hypertension, migraine, sinusitis, headache, insomnia & sleep disorders, burning sensation of the body, dandruff, hair loss, premature greying of hair etc.
NASYAM
This procedure involves instilling medicated drops applied through nostrils preceded by mild face massage and steam. It cleanses sinus and nasal cavity and strengthen sensory organs & immune system. This helps to relieve headaches and stress, cures nasal congestion sinusitis & asthma, Removes toxins from cavities, throat, eyes, ears & nose. It enhances vision and improves memory power.
KATI VASTHI
It is a special type of low back therapy. It is done by keeping the warm medicated oil over the lumbar region within a circular ridge made of black gram paste. It is used for the treatment of chronic backpain, degenerative spine changes, compressed disc and spinal nerves, Disc prolapse, Osteoporosis, Rheumatic arthritis etc
AGNI KARMA
Agnikarma is a unique form of therapy with the help of agni which is having ability to cure diseases.
It effectively treats various diseases such as piles, fistula-in-ano, cyst, war, mole etc. Commonly used
instrument in agni karma is shalaka.
KSHARA KARMA
Kshara is a caustic chemical alkaline in nature obtained from ashes of medicinal plants. It is useful in
treatment of ano rectal cases. It requires less time and can perform his or her routine work from
next day of kshara karma.
JALUKA AVACHARANA
Jaluka avacharana is a treatment for Varicose vein and skin diseases. The treatment is carried out by
medicinal leeches. The leeches are allowed to extract blood for 20 to 45 minutes from the person
who undergoing the treatment.
BANDAGING
Bandaging is the process of covering wound or an injured part. Immobilize joints and bones. It helps
to keep the wound clean and promotes healing.
